A solution to news bubbles.

News bubbles are created when recommendation systems overly focus on appealing to peoples existing preferences and biases. We aim to create a product that brings awareness of biased news sources and diversifies readers' perspectives.

Scans the article on the page and provides analytics without having to visit an external site.

List of the most strongly biased sentences in the article and their individual bias scores. 

Political Bias Score

Informs users of the bias in what they read. It shows where the article stands on the spectrum of left-right bias.

Alternate Articles

Provides easy access to other perspectives on the same topic.

Sentence-Level Analysis

Percentage beakdown of sentence-level bias found in the article. 

Article Summaries

Brief overviews of the alternate articles users can read before clicking on hem.

It's critical to have a healthy media ecosystem as our digital society has become increasingly dependent on online sources and digital tools to access information and news. We need to have accurate and reliable media for the purpose of informing the public and supporting social cohesion, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence of different cultures, ideologies, and viewpoints through diversified speakers and ideas.
